These paths will be available for use by walkers, runners, cyclists, and other non-motorized modes.

Until the end of May, Pinecone Pathways Program is running a unique nature-infused treasure hunt like no other. As you take a scenic stroll along the pretty paths, you might be lucky enough to find one of 200 hidden glass pinecones. Created by talented glassmakers from Starworks in Star, NC, the gorgeous glass gems have been carefully hidden along trails throughout Moore County. The glass-blown pinecones are limited edition, so hit the walking trails soon to claim your treasure. If you don’t discover a glass pinecone, you are still guaranteed a beautiful day surrounded by nature. So, take a peaceful solo walk or grab some friends and family for a hike and a picnic this weekend, and look for those sought-after colorful pinecones before they are all gone.
