The images out of Western NC, Eastern TN, Upstate SC, Northern GA, and Southwestern VA are scary.
And as much as I want to hop in the truck and drive to help, that is NOT what needs to happen right now. If you are thinking about this, actually do the opposite and stay at home. Give the essential and emergency workers the space and time to do what they specialize in.
Instead here’s as comprehensive of a list as I could scour and put together of how to donate both in broad and specific ways. You will also find as many informational links as I could find to help from power outage maps to where you can donate food and supplies.
I will continue to add here as I find more ways to help or links to be better informed.
I am so very sorry to all of those effected. We are all Appalachian Strong.
